The North Carolina College Media Association formed in December 2007 and offered its initial one-day conference on Saturday, April 5, 2008, in the School of Media and Journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. That conference marked the launch of the association, based in the N.C. Scholastic Media Association offices. Sessions at that first conference focused on fall 2008 election coverage. Since then, conferences have been held on the campuses of N.C. State University, Elon University, Appalachian State University, Winston-Salem State University, N.C. A&T State University and Greensboro College.
Accommodation requests: Please notify NCCMA by Feb. 14.
